B.F.F Gatherings ^^

Location: Redbox, Gurney Plaza, Penang @ 3-6PM; 17/11/2009

Time passes so fast that I ady finished my first sem in UKM, lol, really fast. After hardly finishing my final exam, the 1 and a half months holiday finally arrive, and I managed to meet up my BFF Ray and Kwan Jou, without Thomas who is still busy in UKM Branch. Well, last Tuesday, we went to Redbox to singK together, hmm, sorry ya, cuz I chose a lot of songs, but KJ also la!! Wed we went for 2012, a great movie till TGV Jusco only premiered that movie the whole day, nyaris no ticket u tau! Thurs was wasting money day, met Kah Chun then entered the fashion shop, dumm, bought a jacket out ><

Greenland Moviemeter 绿洲影评

It is surprising that the tsunami strikes faster than expected and though the screenplay is just a simple emotional based on a true story, it greatly demonstrates and focuses on the entire traumatic experience which would be the same for anyone who are swept away by the strong wave. Directed in a way that only limited soundtracks throughout the story, the great performances from the mum and the eldest son who needs to carry on the strength of the adults temporarily; not only driving the emotions and touches the heart of all of the audiences, but also inspiring us who does not really come across directly to the disaster 8 years ago, to understand and to imagine the same experience. With a powerful narration until the end, this is epic than "127 Hours", of course the tsunami effects, overflowing hospitals and the destruction of the city bring a new standard more than other effects driven disaster films. (9.4/10.0)
